Tai Chi is well known for its superior health benefits and high level manner of effectiveness in combat. The Tai Chi forms are performed in a slow, relaxed manner. This calms the mind and releases the mental and physical tensions of our modern stressful lifestyle. This translates to repelling opponents using their own energy against them, rather that resorting to "force against force" in the traditional sense.
