STANDING PRINCIPLES


1. Weight falls through centre of foot

2. Toes curl under

3. Weight 70% in the heels

4. Align from ankle to knee

5. Knees soft

6. Iliosas sinks

7. Waist becomes level

8. Stomach soft

9. Lower spine tucks under

10. Focus on tantien

11. Spine naturally long

12. Chest hollow

13. Back wide

14. Shoulders level

15. Fingers cupped

16. Tigers mouth at side of leg

17. Elbows soften and tuck into sides

18. Lift occipital ridge

19. Head level and light

20. Bring ear, shoulder, waist, knee and ankle into alignment

21. Nose and navel in line

22. Eyes focused down

23. Eyelids fall like curtains over the eyes

24. Breath in through nose and out through mouth

25. Tongue up on roof of mouth as you breathe in and on base of mouth as you breathe out

26. Set intention

27. Connect to Chi and draw Chi around the body using breath
